Years ago, Japanese folklore featured spirits that could inhabit anything. These spirits were called Yokai. One particularly helpful Yokai was Amabie. As the story goes, drawing a picture of it and showing it to everyone is supposed to help during an epidemic. The legend encourages a child-like drawing. Well, since this epidemic is so wide spread, I thought Amabie could use a third dimension.
