In my world, there are two paths. There is a central beginning spot where there are two options. A narrow gate and a wide gate. The narrow gate is closed in reference to Matthew 7:7, "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." This gate leads to a less traveled road. The scene along the path is that of my past African mission experiences. One of my favorite things is sunsets and so that is what this path leads too. It is also representative of Heaven and the reward that is at the end of the narrow path. There is a verse on the path, Ephesians 3:20, and this is my life verse. When you are on the path, it is hard to tell what is going on, but when you are looking above at the bigger picture, you can read the verse. The wider gate leads to a highly traveled road. It leads to a city that is blank and dull, because ultimately this city will not satisfy as it portrayed. It has a storm over it to represent the destruction that is at the end of this path. My companion is the knight at the end of the narrow path, representing the armor of God, who has walked the whole way with me and given me what I needed to persevere.
