Flight 93 National Memorial
The Flight 93 National Memorial honors the memory of the passengers and crew of United Airlines Flight 93. On September 11, 2001, Flight 93 was one of the four planes hijacked by Al Qaeda terrorists. The memorial, location at the crash site in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, explores the story of Flight 93 and the actions of the heroes onboard who were able to stop terrorists from attacking the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington, D.C.
