Green River, Wyoming Downtown Tour
From its origins as an Overland Mail stage station, the City of Green River has been a participant to and witness of the expansion of the United States. The Overland Mail, Overland Telegraph, river exploration, ranching, mining, Union Pacific Railroad, Lincoln Highway, Interstate I-80, information superhighway and even an Intergalactic Spaceport have changed the face of Green River. This tour guides the visitor through the historic district. Here, a variety of buildings record growth and change in the City from the late 19th to the mid-20th century.
