The Brown v. Board of Education National Historic Site is located in Topeka, Kansas. The site, which includes the historic Monroe School and adjacent grounds, commemorates the landmark U.S. Supreme Court decision that ended segregation in public schools throughout the nation. In May of 2004, on the 50th anniversary of the decision, the park opened to the public.
